Ho Ho Steamboat to warm your soul

Dinner craved during any rainy season - definitely STEAMBOAT!

Ho Ho Steamboat, founded in 1999 is an economical family steamboat restaurant with 7 branches :
Sri Petaling, Segambut, Bandar Menjalara, Klang, Genting Klang, Balakong and Johor Bahru.

My hubby and I are frequent patrons at Ho Ho Steamboat @ Genting Klang.
We would always order its set for two @ RM37 which is just nice for 2 hungry and cold souls.

There're a variety of seafood and steamboat ingredients within the set :
beancurd skin (fu chuk), dumplings, beancurd (tofu), varieties of vegetables, yam, eggs, fish balls, fish noodles, varieties of meat balls, crab stick, fresh fish meat, fresh prawns, yee mee and bihun.

Their seafood are guaranteed fresh as they're shipped from Pulau Ketam daily.

The soup base is FOC and refillable.
Our favourite are their yin yang soup base : tom yam and clear soup

Yummyyyyyyyy.........*drooling*

The tom yam soup has a lot of diced tomato to add a pinch of natural sourness to it. *slurps*

Their specialty chilli paste and fried onion

We had refreshing beverages to go with our dinner :

Ambla juice @ RM4.80 and Ai-yu Jelly @ RM3.80

By the end of the day, we merely spend RM45.60 for 2 pax for a satisfying and fulfilling dinner. Ho Ho Steamboat doesn't charge government tax (pre-GST period) nor extra service charges despite awesome services provided.

Their new addition to the steamboat soup base is the pork bone soup, which I'm tempted to try it out next time.

If you're not into steamboat, fret not, they also serve cooked clams (lala), fish, prawns, crab and fried bihun with pork belly, crab, sliced fish and etc.

Stay tuned for more food review by Miss2MrsChic!
